Job Summary:

The Advanced Effectors organization within the Advanced Technologies Mission Area has an opportunity for an early professional financial analyst to support a portfolio of development programs within AAWS/IKCA Finance team. These programs are part of a larger strategic portfolio of systems Raytheon is developing to support our country’s evolving defensive strategy. This is a high-profile position where multiple programs in this area are regularly reviewed by both mission area and business unit leadership. The financial analyst position is a growth opportunity to learn exciting new technologies while working programs that will continue Raytheon’s legacy as the premier provider of solutions to the warfighter.

The ideal individual for this job will be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn new concepts, tools, and management processes. This position will provide an opportunity to develop and enhance skills with SAP APEX, PRISM, and a host of other systems within the existing Raytheon earned value management tool suite.

This position is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote or onsite) and is based on the needs of the business. The person who takes this role will be expected to work onsite up to 2-3 days per week. The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Support periodic estimates at complete (EAC)

• Conduct variance analysis and writing/reviewing variance narratives in an earned value environment

• Ability to work independently as the primary finance point of contact on a collection of separate contracts

• Raise the performance levels of those they work with by leveraging their previous experiences to complete challenging and complex assignments in a collaborative team environment

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field

• Typically requires 2 years’ work experience in finance related position

• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, graphing, etc.)

• Demonstrated experience with APEX (SAP) and Business Warehouse (BW) or similar system

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. (Secret) security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
