    This program is a highly visible $1.7B Watch/Development program under Raytheon Technologies RI&S. This team member will be responsible for Program Controls as part of a larger finance team under a major defense contract. Team member will partner with assigned CAM’s/IPTL’s and ensure all required financial inputs (including reporting) are reviewed, analyzed and submitted on time. Responsibilities include Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation, variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, including IPMRs, and Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development. In addition, this position is responsible for actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects. Team member may also be responsible for providing the internal financial planning & analysis (e.g., bookings, sales, profit, labor, and cash forecasting and analysis).

    Required Skills:

    • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience experience
    • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc) in daily program implementation and providing guidance/coaching as needed
    • Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools and independently create and accurately analyze cost data
    • Good organizational skills in coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal communication
    • Ability to be flexible and deal with a wide range of work assignments
    • Ability to work in a self-guided manner as well as part of a team
    • Self-motivated and able to work through problems with minimal supervision
    • Excellent desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience in program controls, putting together baselines, EACs, using EV, reporting on FP&A (Sales, Profit, Cash, and Bookings) activities.
    • Experience with externally reported EVM programs (IPMR, DFARS clauses, DID formats, etc).
    • Experience with SAP APEX, PRISM, BW/AO, PMX, and Rplan

    Required Education:

    Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

    Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have significant knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

    The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
