Collins Aerospace is actively seeking an Principal Specialist, Schedule Analyst to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Defense Power & Actuation Program Management Office as a Scheduler to ensure that projects are delivered on time in order to support critical customer projects. Projects will span the acquisition life-cycle, from development to production and operations and support (O&S).
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to develop an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for each program to support proposal pricing, program baseline development and periodic program status
Work closely with technical leads and CAMs to ensure schedules and costs are accurate and comprehensive, and include milestones, deliverables, dependencies, predecessors, successors, lag time, and all other pertinent MS Project data
Perform critical path analysis
Ensure the accuracy of project planning data that is used in the execution of projects, resource planning, and sales forecasting is up to date and accurate
Assist program management team with rolling wave planning
During program execution, provide periodic reporting to program management team
Meet periodically with PM and CAMs to review project deadlines and activities; ensure Estimate to Complete (ETC) budgets and durations are properly reflective of the project schedule
Monitor and measure project progress, identify and work program-wide issues, and provide support to Program Management with respect to budget impact analysis, including cost, schedule, and deliverables
Apply Earned Value methodology to the project; assist in the development and maintenance of an Earned Value baseline
Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
Ability to obtain a DoD Clearance
Must be a US Citizen

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to multitask
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of system engineering or production practices
Experience using MS Project
Experience running schedule analysis and schedule health checks
Experience in creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Experience working on DoD programs
Demonstrated understanding of Earned Value (EV) management principles and their application to complex projects
Experience in scheduling using MS Project or Primavera
