    Job Summary:

    Raytheon Solipsys, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raytheon Missile and Defense (RMD) and Raytheon Technologies (RTX). The successful candidate will be engaged with exciting and innovative advancements in Multi-Sensor and Information Fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, and Visualization technologies. We are currently looking for a Systems Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert in Military Command and Control (C2) systems, Onsite Systems Integration, Training and Customer Field support and Technical Leadership. Position is 100% remote.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • Perform systems engineering tasks on software development programs including technical leadership, requirements derivation, systems integration, requirements verification, and regression testing.
    • Travel to customer sites to perform hardware and software systems installation and checkout.
    • Develop, perform and maintain software training courses of software system operation and maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot system issues reported by customers in the field and develop solutions in a timely manner.
    • Serve as subject matter expert to software design team on the development of new operator displays and controls.
    • Provide technical support to Business Development team on customer demonstrations and new business proposals.
    • Occasional domestic and international travel (10-20%).

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • A University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
    • Experience as a US Military Systems Specialist, tactical operator, or systems administrator
    • Experience in Air Control, Air Traffic Operations, Command and Control (C2), Maritime Operations or similar systems
    • Experience as a technical leader
    • U.S. Citizenship

    The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Qualifications We Value:

    • 2+ years of leadership experience, leading technical teams
    • Previous experience operating C2 software with sensors or tactical data links (such as Link 16 and CEC) with emphasis on track management function
    • Strong aptitude in Human Factors Engineering, especially in the development of effective and efficient operator controls for C2 software
    • Experience in planning, developing and performing training of a technical topic such as watch station operations or system maintenance
    • Previous experience using Solipsys products such as Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3), Zeus, Tactical Display Framework (TDF) and Multi Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT)
    • CompTIA Security+ and Red Hat Linux Administrator certifications
    • Hands on experience installing and configuring COTS computing systems and peripherals
    • Adept at communicating (verbal and written) with all levels within and outside the company, ability to prepare and deliver presentations/summaries which appropriately address the intended audience
    • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance

    This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.     The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
