Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI S) is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer. The candidate must have software development lifecycle experience using the Agile methodology. The candidate will be familiar with Algorithm development and experience with Signal Intelligence (SIGINT). The candidate will have RF domain experience. The candidate must also have Digital Communications experience. Our Engineers provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel. They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, defining system interfaces. The candidate will provide engineering support and technical direction for the implementation of a portion of the program’s systems engineering program.
Location: Aurora, CO

Security Clearance: An Active and In-Scope TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $15,000 for a candidate with an Active TS/SCI clearance that can be verified when hired at RIS
Required Skills:
• Experience in Algorithm development
• Experience in Systems Engineering lifecycle
• Experience in Systems Engineering leadership
• Experience with Agile development as it applies to software development
• Experience with Enterprise Engineering Solution Analysis
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration
Desired Skills:
• Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams
Education and Experience Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
