We have an excellent opportunity on our Survivability Engineering team.  We are looking for a talented engineer who is looking to further their career in systems engineering.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting various vulnerability analyses on current and future military propulsion systems
    • Ensuring that the entire propulsion system is not susceptible to any chemical, biological threats, and effects of radiological/nuclear per government requirements.
    • Conducting state of the art ballistic analysis and ballistic testing at government sites
    • Helping Pratt and Whitney make military engines the least vulnerable in the world

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field and a minimum 8 years of engineering experience or Advanced Degree in related technical field with minimum 5 years of experience.
    • COVART Experience
    • Must have an Active U.S Government Secret Level Security Clearance
    • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge and or experience with Siemens NX CAD system or similar
    • Knowledge and or experience with Rhino
    • Experience conducting CBRN analysis
    • Experience conducting ballistic analysis with COVART.
    • Experience with the preparation of CAD models to create FASTGEN models.
    • Ability to prepare input files for COVART
    • Ability to generate and understand analytical results from COVART output.
    • Familiarization with common jet engine modules and externals a plus.

    Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

    Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
