Physical Security professional for Special Programs responsible for administering all aspects of Physical Security for multiple classified facilities. Oversee a security officer workforce interfacing directly with their company management to ensure adequate coverage and training for all officers. In this role the candidate will be responsible to routinely interface with all levels of program management, government customers, subcontractors and facilities to ensure government regulations and company directives are followed. Responsibilities encompass overseeing classified construction projects, SAPF/SCIF accreditations, site de-certifications, Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), Construction Security Plans (CSPs), TEMPEST checklists, compliance of all government/company/local regulations regarding facility construction of both new facilities and renovations of existing facilities to meet ICD 705 requirements. Collaborate with Security Managers, CPSOs and Cybersecurity to obtain approval for, and implement security policies and procedures specific to the program to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), participate in Self-Inspections and Government compliance inspections, initiate and complete Corrective Action Plans (CAP), conduct inquiries into security incidents, write reports, and make recommendations for corrective actions, provide physical security guidance to program accessed personnel, participate in OPSEC planning/implementation and resolve physical security issues as needed.
Required Skills:
•Must possess a TS clearance with current SSBI
•Ability to obtain and maintain accesses as required by government customers
•5+ years of Physical Security experience
•Demonstrated knowledge of the ICD 705, NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, Volumes 1 – 4, Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), DCIDs, applicable ICDs, and related references
•Strong working knowledge of Physical Security disciplines
•Experience with construction of facilities to ICD 705 directives from concept to completion facilitating the planning and development of new/renovated classified areas
•Knowledge of intrusion detection systems, access control systems, surveillance and camera systems
•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with attention to detail a must
•Ability to work extended hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment
•Analytical and problem-solving skills

Required Education:
•Typically requires a completed Bachelor’s Degree

Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
