Job Summary:

The Domestic Acquisition Solutions (DAS) Team (Guidance, Navigation, CCA and Secure Processing) team has a great opportunity for an experienced Subcontracts Specialist in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire subcontract purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team.  You will manage several supplier relationships necessary to support various programs for the factory material needs.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Creates, executes and manages various subcontract types (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed Price, etc.) using source selections techniques.
• Issuance of RFPs/RFQs in support of requirements supporting customer delivery schedules and various Statement of Works (SOW) requirements.
• Performs cost and price analysis, develops negotiation strategies, and leads negotiations. Negotiates reasonable prices based on price and cost analysis.
• Executes to customer requirements including government regulations, public law and Missile Defense policies and procedures.
• Ensures that hardware deliveries are coordinated, managed and are consistent with program schedules.
• Manages metrics that measure buying performance.
• Ensures accurate and complete requirements for materials and services are communicated to suppliers.
• Manages and reports on supplier performance in the areas of cost, quality, and schedule performance.
• Compiles and analyzes industry, market, and company data to select potential suppliers.
• Contributes to improvement to processes, systems, or products.
• This can be a Remote or Hybrid (requiring some time spent onsite) role.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and four years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, a combination of four years of relevant experience in manufacturing operation, finance or quality is required

• Four years of experience in procurement or a combination of experience in procurement

• Experience with FAR/DFAR acquisition procedures and requirements

• This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance

• Experience with Microsoft office suite or similar tools including SAP

Qualifications We Value:

• Master's Degree in supply chain, business management, finance, or related field
• Leadership or supervisory experience in procurement, supply chain or related business
• Experience with firm fixed and cost type contracting
• Working knowledge of ITAR regulations
• Experience with negotiating terms and conditions
• U.S. Citizenship status is required.
• Travel up to 25% may be required
