The process analyst is responsible for documenting engineering processes, analyzing them for potential efficiency improvements, and developing standard job instructions. Additionally, the process analyst will work with data migration teams in different systems for consolidation activities.
The role can be based in Windsor Locks, CT, Rockford, IL or Rome, NY. This role is a hybrid role and averages 2-3 days on-site per week based on project/ customer needs. Travel time is up to 5%.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process Analysis
Develop documentation of current processes
Conduct current process metric development
Identify opportunities for improvement with potential gains
Coordinate major technical issues and tool enhancements with design development teams
Data Administration
Coordinate data migration activities from system to system
Validation of data in new system
Data integrity
Version Upgrades
Troubleshoot issues identified by business users
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
Proficiency working with Siemens Teamcenter
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Experience operating within a (engineering) change control process
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Ability to communicate and collaborate while working in a dynamic team environment
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the company
Highly motivated and service-oriented attitude
