Process & Improvement Specialist - Enterprise Services, Business Services (Remote)

The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Raytheon Technologies Enterprise Services organization is seeking a talented Human Resources professional to provide services that support the Process and Continuous Improvement team. This position will primarily support the Enterprise Services (ES) HR and Payroll organizations but may also work on projects within/across other ES Business Services areas. The ideal candidate would have working knowledge in human resources business process flows, general working knowledge of human resources/payroll/case management systems, experience in Continuous Process Improvements/Lean/ Six Sigma and strong analytical and reporting skills. This position is remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects and project team members by providing oversight, guidance, and direction. Guide and direct in alignment with governance, project plan tasks and actions. Motivate and drive results from the project teams
• Engage with other project managers and customer stakeholders using project management expertise, develops stakeholder relationships, establish clear expectations/accountabilities and escalated issues as needed
• Collaborate across organization to support business process needs specific to operational processes, projects, or introduction of new services
• Assist in assessing and documenting processes to determine how to reduce rework, improve quality, improve efficiency, and/or improve the ability to deliver desired services
• Assist in the definition of improvement initiative scoping and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring technical and operational feasibility of Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Independently connect, validate, analyze, and synthesize datasets into understandable outputs
• Partner with Service Now and data analytics in support of extracting data from process owners systems and analyzing data sets
• Develop dashboards and reports and provide support for root cause corrective action/process improvements

Required Education, Experience, and Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• Minimum five years’ professional experience required, with at least three years in human resources
• Experience managing cross-functional projects, programs, or processes required
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Working knowledge of human resources and applicable laws
• Strong technical and analytical skills, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
• Strong drive to improve and automate processes to achieve best possible customer experience
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (consulting and influencing), including ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of employees and managers (customer service skills)
• Ability to drive change and challenge status quo
• Strong attention to detail

Desired Knowledge/Skills:

• Professional Human Resources, project management, and/or Six Sigma certification(s) or accreditations a plus
• Experience in an HR Shared Services or Business Services transformational environment a plus
• Prior experience working as HR Partner in an aerospace or manufacturing organization a plus
