    We are seeking a candidate with a passion for aerospace to join our team within the Engine Design & System Integration (EDSI) engineering discipline. We are in East Hartford, Connecticut and have an opening for a Product Definition Senior Engineer in the EDSI Product Definition (PD) group.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with Core PD team, Design Integration engineers, Assembly Operation designers, and Module Center personnel to produce System Level Product Definition.

    • Review models/prints to meet PD Engineering Knowledge System (EKS**)** requirements, which includes the application of tolerancing techniques while considering producibility and overall design intent. Engineering Knowledge System.

    • Create graphically driven BoM & DMU configurations using graphics software (NX & CATIA).

    • Lead small teams to meet and maintain program deliverables efficiently.

    • Develop and mentor product definition drafters to improve proficiency.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years' prior drafting experience; or An Advanced Degree in STEM and 3+ years' prior drafting experience.

    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    • Travel up to 25%.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficient with GD&T.

    • Solid understanding of MBD initiatives.

    • Strong skills in NX, CATIA and Team Center tools and processes.

    • Strong communication and teaming skills.

    • Active U.S. issued security clearance or the ability to obtain a U.S. issued security clearance.

    The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
