    Job Description

    A Production Associate I is responsible for the safe and proper assembly of parts/lines for aerospace safety equipment while maintaining a streamlined production process. We have a worldwide customer base and this is a fast-paced environment.

    Compensation:

    • *$22.00 per hour starting rate
    • Eligible for Annual Increases
    • Competitive Benefits Package, including first day Medical

    Schedule:

    This position is for 1st shift

    • Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    • Overtime available on a business need basis

    Responsibilities/Job Functions:

    • Perform rework of nonconforming components
    • Use basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment
    • May handle small amounts of explosive powder
    • Troubleshoot and solve basic productions issues with Team Leader direction
    • Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real time problem solving skills when working towards a solution
    • Actively support compliance with EH&S policies and regulatory requirements
    • Prepare work orders and data sheets for processing
    • Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes included in aircraft component assembly
    • Help with problem solving by working with engineering, management, and other cell departments
    • Perform basic match calculations
    • Move between workstations as needed
    • Read and understand manufacturing procedures and blueprints
    • Follows all safety protocols
    • Ensure proper tool and/or material management

    Basic qualifications:

    • Typically requires high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.
    • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card holder”

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Knowledge of manufacturing operations
    • SAP and inventory management experience
