Collins Aerospace in Wilson is seeking a highly motivated, driven, results-oriented Production Maintenance Sr. Supervisor to support the manufacturing of fire suppression and detection systems used in Commercial and Military aircraft and vehicles across multiple product lines.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruit, supervise and train a team of production maintenance employees and ensure adherence to all departmental procedures, best practices, guidelines and safety policies
Sets prioritization of day-to-day goals, operational objectives, emergencies, machine down and preventative maintenance activity
Implement an established maintenance program and maintain detailed maintenance training records
Communicates daily with operations and manufacturing engineering personnel to manage maintenance activities and escalates issues as required
Ensures accuracy and completeness of all maintenance documentation
Supports new equipment purchases, implementation and training
Ensure all tools and repair equipment are in good working order
Ensure adherence of maintenance departmental procedures, policies, best practices and guidelines
Research time lost due to equipment malfunctions and provide recommendations for improvement
Supervise the progress of work orders and ensure timely completion
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Minimum of 5 years of relater experience
Experience working in a commercial/industrial environment with maintenance or engineering responsibilities.
Proven leadership experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
SAP/SRM/DART Operating System knowledge
Total Production Maintenance (TPM) methodology tools
Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
