    Collins Aerospace is looking for a Production Scheduler who will be executing the MPS (Master Production Scheduling)/MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) by dispatching orders within the short-term planning horizon for scope of work within site.  In addition, you will also be planning and executing recovery plans using SAP tools and have opportunities to engage proactively with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Logistics, Master Scheduling, Quality and Programs.

    The position is working onsite at our Foley AL facility. Relocation assistance is available

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Maintain planned order schedules by utilizing SAP (LMPC) to ensure the production line is scheduled to the agreed TAKT time and capacity constraints for bottleneck areas.
    • Perform monthly reporting, variance analysis, SAP health measure reporting, SAP training, and master data reporting.
    • Execute MPS/MRP results through dispatching planned orders within the agreed planning horizon
    • Coordinate recovery plans and Takt time changes with Strategic Planner for near-term planning horizon
    • Align, plan, communicate and execute recovery plans, drop-ins, spares in SAP to appropriate stake holders.
    • Proactively communicate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Logistics, Master Scheduling, Quality and/or Program Management) and Supply Chain regarding schedule position and risks
    • Monitor work order activity to ensure timely hand-offs between production levels
    • Actively evaluate, mitigate, and communicate delays or supply risks to Master Scheduling and management
    • Work with Supply Chain to monitor delivery status on in-bound purchased materials and components affecting planned production
    • Actively participate in Quality clinics and non-conformance activities within scope of work
    • Monitor and/or initiate change requests for SAP master data and other master data settings to ensure accurate planning within SAP
    • Actively contribute to the development of standardized processes and procedure (SJI) for the Production Planning and Control team
    • Able to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally when circumstances permit
    • Perform other duties as required

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
    • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
    • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
    • Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
    • MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with SAP
    • Experience with Excel-Pivot Tables, H-LookUps, V-Lookups
    • Experience with production scheduling
    • Aerospace experience
