Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a motivated, Program Area Chief Engineer (PACE) within the Electronic Warfare Systems / Self Protect Systems (SPS) / Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) and Decoy product line. This new position is responsible for engineering cost, schedule, and technical execution of the programs within the overall product line. The PACE reports to the SPS Program Area Chief Engineer (PACE), and directly oversees the program Chief Engineers on the programs within the product line. The individual will be familiar with the latest technology trends in the area of Electronic Warfare systems, will be able to interact regularly with the EW customer base, and they will also be a technical developer of product roadmaps for Electronic Warfare RF subsystems. The individual will provide technical leadership on new business development for EW RF products. This position may require occasional business-related travel.
The Program PACE is the single engineering leadership point of contact and is responsible for the engineering execution of an entire product line, overseeing all technical, schedule, and financial aspects.
Establish and manage a program vision, strategy and goals to align the Program with the Customer and facilitate conflict resolution.
Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across all IPTs, CPTs, and disciplines within the Programs.
Primary product line technical POC with the customer senior technical counterparts
Authority to manage all program engineering related activities across the programs. Authority over and direct management of the program chief engineers to ensure that the overall system design is optimized to meet the required performance within the project constraints (cost and schedule), and production efforts execute as planned.

Required Skills:
Typically a minimum of 12 years of mixed experience in airborne and electronic warfare (Electronic Support & Electronic Attack) systems design, use-case development and operational analysis, integration and test, and system qualification.
Demonstrated prior success as Lead Design Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, Program Chief Engineer or Integrated Product Team Lead.
Demonstrated prior success as Technical Lead on major proposals, and ability to brief internally and externally at the senior executive level.
Ability to independently interact and lead engagement with senior customers
Strong systems and design engineering experience, with demonstrated ability to establish a strong technical baseline with disciplined change management, while operating in a rapid development environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead across a highly multi-disciplinary role, requiring experience across all design engineering disciplines, technical supplier management, business development, and program leadership.
Proven ability to develop strategic RF products, and communicate product and project design strategies to internal stakeholders and external customers
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as excellent written/verbal communication skills
An active DoD security clearance is required
Desired Skills:
Factory establishment and production experience.
Design experience with the Electronic Support (ES), Radar Warning Receivers (RWR), and Electronic Attack (EA) systems, or other Electronic Warfare systems of similar complexity.
Capture Management and Program Management leadership experience
Education:
Typically a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
