About Us:

Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join the OSQ Factory Finance team supporting our value stream efforts. Operations produces technologically advanced products which are critical to several RMD franchise programs such as Patriot, LTAMDS & AMDR. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to partner with Operations and Finance personnel supporting these critical franchises. Chief responsibilities of the position consist of financial reporting and analysis for a factory portfolio containing over 100 employees and a backlog of $150M. Specific tasks include quarterly EACs, product cost and unit hour analysis and risk and opportunity development. You will also be tasked with communicating financial performance and providing guidance and insight to a variety of stakeholders within the organization. A successful candidate will also seek to utilize their talents to drive collaboration with the broader value stream finance and business operations finance team.

This is Hybrid role based in Andover, MA. You must be within commuting distance to our facility. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance and data analysis
  • Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development
  • Establish and maintain program logs (Charging, R&Os, etc.)
  • Provide financial guidance to Factory Overhead Managers, IPT leads, and other finance branches
  • Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance and reporting utilizing standard company tools and processes
  • Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, systems, and processes (CPH, Utilization, OT, etc.)
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness
  • Support weekly/monthly program reviews, program metrics, and operations reviews as the finance lead
  • Ability to ensure adequate financial controls that provide a balance between finance goals and operational goals

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or related business field.
  • 5 years applicable work experience in Finance or related field; OR an advanced related degree with 3 years of applicable work experience
  • Program Controls experience with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or experience with EVMS tools
  • Hands-On experience with SAP Business Systems / BW Toolset or similar business systems
  • Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word or PowerPoint

  • Experience using SAP/BW
  • Experience overseeing Fixed Price Programs

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form
  • Program FP&A forecasting (Sales, Bookings, Profit, Cash)
  • Inquisitive (and acts on it) with strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Experience with current DoD regulations associated with FAR/DFARS/TINA/CAS
  • Strong self-initiative
