Position summary
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Work with site owners & central functions to develop a viable business case for a manufacturing site relocation, equipped with technology, robotic, digital integration & Intelligence play,
- Develop a business plan to shift an existing Manufacturing to a new site within the country.
- Responsible for development various options & their respective rate of returns
- Provide an assessment of future looking financial/business targets for the business case,
- Derive potential investment, lead-time, resources & cost for the recommended options.
- Provide necessary presentation for key stake-holders & customers on recommended options. Create workable template to document steps of creating business case as Standard Works for future references, not limiting to the below topics,
- Cell Analysis and Future State on technology play
- How Continuous Improvement or Cost-out/Productivity can impact business decision
- Project Management for the proposed relocation
Apart from main duties, trainee will be assigned continuous improvement projects:
- Participate in 1 Lean Leadership Week business process project.
- Completion of on-line course for Passport (Gate) Process
Tis position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering. Mid-career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
