    Key Responsibilities:

    • Understand and implement corrective action for engine related in-service events and hardware issues identified during overhaul.
    • Support MROs to resolve work-stops during teardown and reassembly of engines.
    • Support Airlines to resolve AOGs.
    • Coordinate resolution of service issues.
    • Initiate technical data development of documentation for engine/module piece part inspection and for Engine Manuals (EM) and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).
    • Coordinate with the technical publication organization (MDE) and provide direction for all technical publications' issues related to their hardware.
    • Interface with Airbus by providing design, operation, maintenance, and customer service data.
    • Continue to evolve current / develop new maintenance criteria as well as retrofit plans to ensure that customers have reliable and cost-effective operations.
    • Coordinate resolution and processing technical data for installation and removal procedures at the module level.
    • Coordinate resolution on hardware investigations (CPRs – Customer Part Returns)
    • Coordinate resolution on Quality Notifications (QNs)
    • 10% travel may be required.

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or
    • An Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience
    • US Citizen or US Person due to government contracts

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.
    • This position requires flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and ability to multi-task across several engine disciplines throughout engineering.
    • Practical to substantial Knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
    • 2+ years of experience in Engine test, design, overhaul, or repair engineering experience from overall engineering experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as general knowledge of gas turbine engines and experience with airline customers
