Seeking and experience Calibration Technician to apply knowledge of measurement science, mathematics, physics, and electronics to calibrate M&TE (measurement and test equipment) in the electrical-DC/Low Frequency, Fluid Quantities, mechanical, thermodynamics, and/or time/frequency to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance to ISO/IEC 17025, AS9100 and P&W procedures. Overall job focus is support of jet/APU engine testing and assembly operations at the West Palm Beach Facility.
Calibrate M&TE (measurement and test equipment) in the electrical-DC/Low Frequency, Fluid Quantities, mechanical, thermodynamics, and/or time/frequency disciplines.
Maintain and create calibration automation software used to perform calibrations.
Identify, maintain, and utilize appropriate measurement procedures.
Participate in quality audits and perform corrective actions to address identified measurement issues.
Adapt equipment, standards, and procedures to accomplish unique measurements.
Maintain calibration standards and recommend new laboratory standards
Perform laboratory and/or departmental quality, environment health and safety, housekeeping duties.
