    The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

    Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has an opening for a RapidResponse Principle Talend Developer (Manager, Business Systems and Transformation).  Individual Contributor.  Remote Opportunity.

    Design, code, unit test, debug, and implement solutions in the RapidResponse application with an additional emphasis on the Talend extract, transform and load (ETL) software to import data from SAP to RapidResponse.  Deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to customers.

    The RapidResponse Talend Developer should have strong application development and systems integration experience; perform code reviews with peers and be able to recognize good programming techniques and correct coding problems.   This position will work as part of the RapidResponse Core Team.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement planning and analytical capabilities from client-specific processes and business requirements using Kinaxis RapidResponse for Supply Chain Management
    • Perform user stories requirements gathering and playbacks of designs and system developments to an audience of business users up to 10-20 people
    • Design and develop technical/functional specifications using understanding of functional areas within RapidResponse application - work on different modules like Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Available to Promise (ATP), Capable to Promise (CTP), Aggregate Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, and MRP
    • Design / configure different seeded resources like workbook/worksheets, alerts, scorecards, widgets, dashboards, automation/scheduled tasks, task flows, scripts, etc
    • Experience with Supply Chain Planning Master Data Maintenance i.e. Material Master, BOM, Work center, Routings, Vendor Master, Customer Master, work center, Info records, source list, Schedule agreements, constraints, etc
    • Focus on Planning solutions using RapidResponse, MRP to achieve a defined business outcome, working with Interfaces, work flows and data management/data migration
    • Work with the functional team to drive the adoption of standard business practices
    • Develop and support customized batch sql extracts from SAP using Sybase and Oracle integrating directly with RapidResponse using DTC functionality
    • Develop and support customized batch sql extracts from Oracle EBS using Oracle integrating directly with RapidResponse using DTC functionality
    • Develop and support customized Talend ETL processes for SAP, Oracle EBS, and custom source environments integrating into RapidResponse
    • Develop and support customized Talend SOAP/WSDL web service integrating with SAP and Oracle EBS from RapidResponse as part of the closed loop process
    • Develop autosys Unix scripts and windows batch scripts to automate ETL processes
    • Serve as technical lead on RapidResponse environment refreshes, upgrades, and hypercare support
    • Create RapidResponse playbook for RapidResponse projects
    • Follow agile/scrum software development methodology standards while working on various projects using JIRA and SmartSheet

    Required Qualifications:

    • Typically a minimum of 8+ years with SAP, Talend and RapidResponse and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced Degree and 5+ years related work experience.
    • Demonstrated soft skills required for the presentation of ideas and concepts to stakeholders such as vendors, end users and senior management.
    • Strong ability to lead, provide direction and motivate teams to produce results
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and consultative skills
    • Ability to learn quickly and independently while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Solid technical and implementation background
    • Cloud, On Premise, Hybrid Computing

    • SAP, Oracle EBS and Kinaxis Specialist
    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Strong understanding and implementation experience using the scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodology
    • Available to support off-shift system support
    • Experience with SAP ERP systems
    • Experience working with functional Business System Experts (BSEs) and other software developers
    • Experience delivering ECC and DT solutions outside of the United States
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
    • Experience documenting As-Is and To-Be processes

    Education Requirements:

    Typically a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree

    Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

    The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
