    Raytheon Technologies is seeking a professional Research Specialist that has a solid grasp of industry research techniques and understanding of the Intelligence Community. The mission of the Search Team is to run queries and do intense research to provide retrievable copies of document(s) collected or produced by the customer, sometimes referred to as the Document Library. Collections can include a variety of forms including, but not limited to: electronic, hardcopy, microfilm, and on-line full text database. This position is the focal point for providing intelligence reporting and reference services to the entire IC. The right candidate must have significant prior customer knowledge and relatable experience that they are able to utilize to perform the research. He or she will then analyze the results requiring the constant exercise of discretion and to determine applicability of the documents to the tasking, providing results in accordance with customer guidelines. The individual will maintain the classified library and archive documents when appropriate.

    Typical Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Electronically review a subset of newly processed documents, identify potential duplicate documents in the existing document repository. Assess document duplicates and record decisions in the customer's automated system

    • The customer will provide training in duplicate document detection processing

    • Create memoranda or written reports documenting the results of quality assurance studies and investigations and associated recommendations including remediation

    • Scanning documents to provide customers with an electronic response when necessary

    Mandatory Skills:

    • Significant experience of searching/querying databases with ability to quickly adjust to new systems

    • Driven self-starter who is preemptive in seeking clarification when needed and the capability to adapt to new processes

    • Must be a team player willing to collaborate and develop robust relationships with clients, colleagues, and technical teams

    • Skilled in time management with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and multitask to meet tight deadlines

    • Goal oriented individual who can apply critical thinking and provide out of the box solutions.

    • Experience with data calls and quick reaction tasks

    • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and various management levels delivering a proactive experience and approach to high quality services for all stake holders.

    Required Education:

    • A bachelor’s degree and/or high school diploma and 6+ years of experience specific to the skills listed

    • Candidate resumes must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position mentioned above and with the Sponsor

    • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly and be crossover eligible
