Job Summary:

Engineering Technician / Equipment Coordinator to join Antenna and Microwave Products – Product Test and Sustainment team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting presently deployed test sets and associated equipment in a manufacturing environment along with performing preventative maintenance and calibrations.  Other duties will include documenting procedures, processes and reporting of test sets status to be utilized in the investigation of upgrades, obsolescence, and improvements to test.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Track inventory of spare equipment and consumables for assigned programs and request more when needed.
  • Work with programs to find replacement test equipment, rentals or schedule planned test set down time when assets are sent to calibration or repair.
  • Communicate directly with Program Manager/Operations Managers/Value Stream Leaders on test set status and calibration schedules.
  • Track and status parts and equipment orders internally and externally.
  • Provide test set troubleshooting services to the factory when assigned test sets go down.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Active and transferable https://U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. https://U.S. citizenship is required, as only https://U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic microwave network measurements (specifically S-Parameters).
  • Ability to work from schematics, test requirements including written and oral instructions.
  • Experience with RF/MW test equipment such as signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers and other general use test equipment.
  • Experience with calibration management systems for tracking upcoming calibrations, items out for calibration, returned assets, and Out of Tolerance reports.
