Job Summary:

This is an opportunity to join the RMD Business Unit Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) as the FP&A Manager for the RMD Business Unit leading Sales, Earnings, and Backlog. This position is in a fast paced and challenging environment, with an emphasis on skills in forecasting, analysis, management information systems, and leadership communication. 

The person who is selected to hold this position will be required to work closely with members of RMD Finance LT including but not limited to RMD CFO, RMD VP of FP&A, RTX Corporate FP&A, RMD Accounting, RMD Government Accounting, and RMD Mission Area FP&A Teams to consolidate, and analyze key financial data in support of management decision making.

This role is being offered in a fully remote capacity with the ability to go onsite if desired. This program team/members reside in all time zones across the U.S. The expectation is to be able to support across all U.S. time zones.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Lead a team of multiple direct reports.
• Monthly Financial Forecasting Reviews with RMD CFO (Sales, Profit, Cost of Sales, and Backlog)
• RMD Month End Close Deliverables and Deadline to RTX Corporate
• BSEC Risk & Opportunity analysis
• Various ad-hoc requests
• Be flexible if schedule requires it during our “busy times”; e.g., month-end close, quarter-end close and corporate forecast reviews.
• Manage and analyze significant amount of data from various sources. Consolidate the information and present it to the RMD VP of FP&A, the RMD CFO, or other RMD business partners with independent thoughts/insight for management decision making.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or a similar degree
• Typically requires 8 years prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
• Experience with SAP, RPlan, Business Warehouse Experience or a similar tool

Qualifications We Value:

• Substantial knowledge of RTX Finance programs, policies and/or systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
• Financial Planning & Analysis Experience
• Program Cost Control Experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
• Ability to act independently, without much management oversight.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple critical tasks at the same time.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
