The Sustainment Depot Operations Lead is responsible for all manufacturing related activities within a depot-manufacturing environment. The Operations Lead will be tasked to define clear operational schedules, priorities, goals, and collaborate with functional support employees to allow for continuous manufacturing of repairable assets.
This position involves direct leadership of manufacturing activities and requires spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas.
The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in manufacturing leadership role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Understanding and use of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Monitor and control the total assigned budget and assure compliance with budget requirements.
Must be able to create and maintain working relationships with functional leaders providing employees to the program, relationships with internal and external customers with respect to production planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
Schedule, Quality and Cost performance management of responsible work areas
Interface with support employees including planning, engineering, quality and other Value Stream Leaders across other plants
Perform a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow.
Understanding and demonstrated use of Earned Value Management (EVMS).
Prioritizes project issues and assists in the resolutions process to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals and contractual delivery requirements.
Ensure compliance to all pertinent operating procedures, organizational directives and work instructions
Must fully adhere to the goals of Raytheon and its programs including Raytheon Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing and assures through contacts with outside departments, that proper inventory balances are maintained, quality is within acceptable standards and production goals are met.

Six Sigma Qualified
Earned Value Certification (Level 2) or equivalent.
Understanding and demonstrated use of Earned Value Management (EVMS).
Required Education: Typically Requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 experience relevant experience.
