RSS SW Build Mgr/ DevSecOps Engineer (P3-Onsite)

Job Summary:

This position is for a software engineer with experience developing and maintaining a DevSecOps software pipeline. Previous experience integrating and maintaining test automation frameworks, static analysis, software build and CI/CD analytics for embedded C++ and Java GUI application software is a highly desired attribute for potential candidates. The position involves the adaption of a large complex radar software code base to new technologies and development tools to realize benefits of DevSecOps Software Development Pipelines.  In addition to the integration of the existing code base into a DevSecOps platform, there will be development of new software functionality/capabilities in order to meet new mission specific requirements.  

Additional assignment duties include:

Integration of existing build and deployment scripts into yaml based pipeline.

Traceability and integration of requirements verification into test automation framework.

Automation of Software Build, Delivery and Release flow within the Pipeline

Working in partnership with the Software Development team and SW Test Teams to deliver end to end CI/CD solutions

Identifying, recommending and implementing risk mitigation activities to reduce cost, schedule and technical risks.

Required Skills: 

Minimum of 5 years of experience with software development and test experience

Experience programming in multiple modern programming languages, including Java and C++

Experience with scripting languages

Experience with multiple phases of software lifecycle, including software implementation and system integration

Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and tools

Good written and verbal communication skills

Existing Top Secret DoD Clearance

Ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Desired Skills: 

Prior Radar software development or test experience

Prior Java Swing UI development or test experience

Prior experience developing algorithmic, system control, or low level infrastructure SW

Hard real time application development experience or experience with HW/SW level interfaces

Experience in execution of tasks with little to no direction and demonstrated ability to lead the efforts of others

Proven experience working with technically skilled teammates and customers

Experience with large complex systems such as radars

Radar Signal Processing Experience

Git, GitLab, Junit, Google Test, Jenkins, Artifactory experience preferred

Required Education:

Minimum Bachelor’s of Science degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
