    Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst. This role will be part of the Advanced Structures SAP support team organization at Collins Aerospace Systems. The position will be focused on developing strategy, evaluating business processes and SAP best practices, recommending solutions as project execution. This role requires in-depth knowledge of finance and controlling module and the following FICO and related functions in SAP:   general ledger, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, product costing, project systems, month-end closing, financial reporting, GlobalNext, and others.

    This position works in a remote capacity.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others.
    • Resolve end user trouble tickets in a timely manner in compliance within SLA.
    • Analyze complex SAP business problems and develop solutions within SAP using available tools and technologies.
    • Strong customer service focus and committed to proactive review of processes and procedures to continually enhance SAP service quality, service delivery and support.
    • Provide consultation to users regarding processes and procedures and to ensure business is getting efficiencies out of SAP.
    • Encourage disciplined use of SAP systems and processes.
    • Develop and deliver SAP end user documentation, processes and training as needed by the SBU.
    • Lead / Perform system regression testing for new releases, upgrades, and central projects to SAP.
    • Lead / Manage several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project.
    • Create detailed enhancement designs based on end user specifications to present to SAP Functional Councils and IT as needed; tasks include requirements gathering, design, test, and creation of training material.
    • Function as a business partner or consultant for functional management.
    • Assist in the development or enhancement of functional reporting capabilities in SAP.
    • Month end activities for resolving unsettled costs.
    • Project systems creation, change and reporting.
    • 10-20% travel to Advanced Structures sites and other SBU’s as required.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Typically requires bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
    • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance or accounting
    • Minimum 7+ years of SAP hands on experience working in a focus area.
    • Knowledge/ Experience Accounting policies and procedures and reconciliations

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task customer and business priorities.
    • Knowledge/ Experience Cost Estimates, Profit /Cost and Financial Reporting
    • Experience in processing general ledger/ balance sheets/income statements
    • Aerospace and Defense experience a plus
    • Experience leading cross-functional team events, including continuous.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers and team members.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Results-oriented with intense focus on success
    • Self-directed and experienced with little management oversight.
    • Ability to work in a fast moving, high demand software development environment.
    • Ability to work on call schedules including weekends if necessary.
    • MBA and/or CPA a plus

    The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
