Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has an opening for a SAP Fiori Developer (Principal Specialist, Software Developer). Remote Opportunity.

The SAP Fiori Developer will design, code, unit test, debug, and implement SAPUI5 Fiori applications. The developer is required to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to customers. The SAP Fiori Developer should have strong SAPUI5 application development and systems integration experience.  This person will adhere to Raytheon development standards and methodologies and be capable of performing code reviews with peers and be able to recognize good programming techniques and correct coding problems.   Work as part of an SAP Development team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with functional teams to review functional specifications and produce technical design specifications
• Provide level of effort estimates based on functional specifications or business requirements
• Design, code, unit test, debug and implement SAPUI5 Fiori applications while working closely with functional teams
• Resolve open development issues and make decisions about alternate technical approaches
• Proactively provide work status
• Follow development standards and methodology
• Ensure that documentation is properly maintained
• Support  the change control process
• Conduct code reviews with peers
• Support application upgrades
• Work Defects
• Develop test plans for new or modified programs
• Test, debug, implement, and document fixes
• Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Provide advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support

Required Qualifications:

• Typically a minimum of 5+ years' experience in Fiori development and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 2+ year's related work experience
• Working knowledge of SAP DIMP primarily in an Aerospace and Defense setting
• Strong understanding and implementation experience using the scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodology
• Available to support on-call system support
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of system development methodology
• Working knowledge of the OSS process
• Experience in developing SAPUI5/Fiori applications
• Good understanding of FIORI concept, system architecture, FIORI Launch pad configuration and app integration.
• Extensive experience in HTML5, Java Script, CSS3, JSON, XML, and MVC Development framework
• Experience in OData Service consumption on UI using GET, PUT, POST methods
• Experience in development on WebIDE
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
• Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and other modern SAP technologies.
• Experience with the interface designs and APIs required to communicate with external systems
• US Citizenship

Required Education:

Typically a degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
