Job Summary:

The Security Manager at our Tucson, AZ, location will support the mission area security manager and programmatic cross-functional leadership in direct support of National Security and contractual requirements for Special Access Programs based on the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, and ICD-705.   You will directly manage/supervise a team of entry level to experienced security professionals and will be focal point for all security related tasks and matters in their assigned program.  Relocation benefits are available—see below regarding our other offerings.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Manage the oversight and implementation of contractual security requirements for classified program areas, personnel, processes and activities.   

• Manage a small to mid-sized team of security professionals to include scheduling, coaching, training and evaluating performance. 

• Sets team objectives and milestones to ensure efficient operations.

• Partner with personnel across functional organizations in support of business objectives, while ensuring compliance with US Government and Raytheon Company directives and policies. 

• Oversee the development and implementation local SOPs, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and constancy. 

• Manage the implementation of a self-inspection program to include evaluating findings and direct the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s). 

• Provide security support during Government inspections. 

• Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions. 

• Collaborate with and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment. 

• Inspect, prepare for accreditation, and maintain secure facilities in accordance with ICD 705 standards. 

• Evaluate resource needs to develop proposals.   

• This position may require travel on company business-- must possess a valid driver’s license for escorting individuals across business locations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree and eight (8) years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience OR in absence of a degree twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience as a Special Programs Security Officer (PSO, CPSO, GSSO, SSO) supporting SAP and/or SCI Programs.
• An active and in-scope Top Secret US security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

• Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
• Broad knowledge and skills within the SAP/SCI security discipline.
• Related training with Defense Security Service, Center for Development of Security Excellence or equivalent security certification programs.
