Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Software Engineer with an active Secret Clearance in Boulder CO. Relocation assistance available provided candidate meets eligibility requirements.

In this role, you will be working on a team of talented software engineers who are designing, developing, and maintaining next-generation satellite software.

Required Skills 

• 4 Years' experience developing in C++.

• Experience developing in both Windows and Linux environments.

• Experienced developing in an Agile environment.

• Experienced with the Atlassian Tools

• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills

• An active and in-scope Secret U.S. security clearance.

Education/Experience Requirements

• 4 years of relevant experience and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) bachelor’s degree are typically needed for this role. A master’s degree in a STEM field may be substituted for 2 years of work experience. Non-degreed professionals with demonstrated skills and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Desired Skills

• Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
