We are seeking a candidate with a passion for aerospace to join our team within the Hot Section Engineering Module Center. We are located in West Palm Beach, Florida and have an opening for a  Senior Engineer, Drafting/Product Definition (PD Checker). Key Responsibilities:

• Perform design analysis (checking) of engineering product definition per part family PD ESW standards and design intent.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineer(s) to develop Hot section Jet Engine parts. (Ex/ Combustor/Diffuser, Turbine parts including Airfoils, Turbine Exhaust and Nozzles).
• Verify complete accuracy of parametric 3D Siemens NX models and definition. Definition could be 2D associative drawing definition or Model Based Definition (MBD).
• Ensure accurate part interrelationships through tolerance and geometric studies.
• Participate on IPT’s (Integrated Product Teams) as Product Definition delegate.
• Prepare/Maintain various product related Teamcenter/NX Manager data in support of PW Class I and II Engineering activities.
• Act as mentor/coach and provide training to lower-level Product Definition practitioners.
• Estimate and coordinate task resource allocations including Outsource resources.

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of prior relevant Product Definition experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of prior relevant Product Definition experience.
• US Citizen due to government contracts.
• Active Security Clearance or be able to obtain.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Turbine Airfoils.
• Proficient with ASMEY14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T.
• Strong skills in NX and Team Center tools and processes.
• Strong communication and teaming skills.
• Active Security Clearance.
