Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer in Aurora, Colorado. Relocation assistance available provided candidate meets eligibility requirements.

Life with Raytheon Intelligence and Space

In this role you will be joining a team where our software engineers and architects are developing and maintaining next-generation ground station software. Our complex domain requires creative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $12K for a person with an active/current TS/SCI clearance that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.

Clearance Requirements:
An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. security clearance

Required Skills 

• Experience in object-oriented software development using Java.

• Experienced with containerization.

• Experience working in a Linux environment.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) bachelor’s degree are typically needed for this role. Non-degreed professionals with demonstrated skills and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Desired Skills

• Experience with satellite planning and scheduling software development

• Experience using tools such as Eclipse, Junit, Jira, and Git.

• Experience with Agile development

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
