We are looking for a motivated individual to provide exemplary technical builds. As a key member of the engineering support team, the Sr. Lab Assistant works closely with engineers to produce new designs and contribute suggested modifications for producibility.  

Job Responsibilities:  

• Works under minimal supervision to provide support to engineers and technicians on a variety of tasks.
• Performs moderately complex technical tasks that contribute to the completion of engineering projects and products.
• Understands the engineering inspection and quality process and follows quality procedures.
• Reads prints, drawings, and schematics as needed to assist in the build process.
• Documents changes and inspection results as required for a wide variety of products.
• Demonstrates successful soft skills - communication, attitude, leadership, and professionalism.
• Interfaces with engineering related departments regarding program implementation which requires significant interpretation and discussion.
• Performs tasks under general supervision, following standard procedures where judgment or choice is allowed within limits; instruction is provided for new procedures or special assignments.
• Track materials (physical and systems)
• Follow proper material handling and packaging techniques to avoid damage.
• Follow proper procedures for storing, shelving, and placing inventory.
• Utilize computer systems and printers (e.g. recording inventory transactions, generate labels, labor charging)
• Unpack, verify condition of material, count & receive incoming materials; elevate & resolve discrepancies with assistance.
• Operate in accordance with Corporate, Operations, and Division policies, procedures and practices and in compliance with accepted business ethics.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Proficient with: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, O365, Outlook
• Strong communication skills 
• Strong organizational skills 
• Highly detail oriented 
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work on teams in a collaborative environment 
• Ability to receive work from peers, engineers and managers 
• Quick learner 
• Able to retain information quickly 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience reading engineering drawings and using lookup tools.  
• Experience with Multi-pin cable and connector construction.  
• Experience with panel and fixture construction, integrated rack installation. 
• Experience in customer service is preferred
