Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manager, Industrial Facilities Engineering to lead our industrial engineering and maintenance teams within our carbon brake manufacturing facility located in Santa Fe Springs, California. This position plans, organizes, directs, and controls all facilities departmental operations while meeting safety, environmental, quality, financial, and continuous improvement goals.
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in project management, reliability engineering, planning and allocation of resources, and scheduling of equipment for maximum utilization of production facilities and labor.

Primary Responsibilities:
Leads the Facilities department to consistently achieve business targets such as equipment uptime and critical improvements.
Manage the Facilities Engineering group consisting of Facilities Engineers & the Maintenance department.
Takes an active role in identifying training needs, promoting, challenging, and developing both direct and indirect reports in their positions for future job opportunities.
Fosters a high-performance culture with emphasis on ethics, collaboration, and customer focus.
Drives a world-class safety culture, and partners closely with EH&S to ensure all requirements are met and maintained.
Implements requisite changes relative to facility or equipment specifications and organization or government restrictions to ensure compliance with the standards.
Inspects or reviews projects to evaluate compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
Participates in cross-functional teams to ensure building security and safety at multiple sites.
Plans, organizes, and schedules activities, which may include maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities, to ensure proper functioning of facilities.
Supports 24/7 chemical manufacturing process.
Champions Capital Investment budget for the facility.
Supports and implements Lean manufacturing principles and initiatives.
Develops the project management skillset of team using standard project management tools and knowledge.
Support Process Safety Management (PSM) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

Minimum 3 years of facilities management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Detail and results-oriented with demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver on commitments while balancing strategic, business, and competing priorities.
Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) program
Experience with Microsoft Project or similar
Base level of AutoCAD experience

The salary range for this role is 123,000 USD - 259,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
