Job Summary:
The Advanced Technology (AT) Mission Area is looking for a highly motivated finance professional to lead financial management & oversight of the Specter portfolio which includes the Multi-Purpose Booster Development (MPBD) program. The candidate will partner with Program Management & Functional Leads to insure flawless program execution through cost & schedule control and EVMS compliance. MPBD is the next RMD franchise program transitioning to Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Mission Area in 2023. What sets this role apart from others is the strong execution of the MPBD program since first award in 2017 supported by a strong Program Controls team of 5 financial analysts. In this role financial management of the portfolio is critical and goes toward delighting the customer and keeping a steady flow of customer development funding. The candidate will have responsibility to develop quarterly EACs, deliver CDRLs and implement Earned Value Management (EVMS) according to contract terms, RMD policy and process description. In this role, you will build strong relationships with customers to support EVMS compliance and contract execution. You will be an integral part of a fast-paced team where tactical thinking, multi-tasking and initiative are key requirements. You must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and comfortable with new challenges. Good communication skills are also required, along with the ability to effectively interact with multiple layers of leadership within the organization and make recommendations for solutions.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
• Provide key recommendations to senior leaders based on analysis that drives shareholder value,
• Implement full external EVMS being innovative in implementation of RMD practices, policies & standards to meet customer requirements with minimal tools support due to limited program access.
• Develop monthly forecasts, AOP & LRP in partnership with functional partners; providing tactical support of forecasts and plans using various financial tools (RPlan, SAP, BW, Excel)
• Meeting internal & external deliveries with flawless work product, providing predictable financial forecasts, briefing program & finance leadership in advance of decision making, providing financial strategies in proposals & contract negotiations
• Finance delegate for proposals, heading up strategic discussions with the program regarding profit; discussing fee and favorable criteria to drive a fair assessment of Raytheon’s work to encourage the best outcome for the business,
• Evaluate and improve internal controls, tools and processes,
• Lead and develop a team of 5 program control analysts.
Qualifications You Must Have:
• Bachelors degree Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related
• 10+ years applicable work experience in Financial Management/Leadership
• Experience implementing full external Earned Value Management
• Experience with finance reporting tools and proficiency with MS Office products
• Experience supporting forecasts and plans using various financial tools
• Experience leading and developing program controls teams
Qualifications We Value:
• Experience implementing Earned Value Management, including heading up an IBR (Integrated Baseline Review), delivering IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report) & CSDR (Cost & Software Data Reporting)
• Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form, framing and interpreting issues for Senior Management
• Comfortable in a highly visible position; organizing, preparing and presenting briefings to customers, management and peers
• Experience recognizing process shortfalls and successfully implementing positive change
