Our Advanced Radar RF & Design Department has an immediate need for a Senior Production Support engineer with experience in production support. We are looking for candidates to lead, collaborate, and coordinate with our manufacturing facility, Program Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. In this role, you will lead with a culture of trust, transparency, compliance, diversity, inclusion, and accountability. This position will reside in the Processing Production Design Support section that supports the Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) program.
Ensure Special Test Equipment is operable at all times while improving test yield
Perform technical evaluations of hardware with the ability to categorize failures and systematically disposition failing hardware in a timely manner
Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
Communicate to program leadership status updates of hardware failures
Ability to travel periodically to manufacturing facilities, suppliers, or customer sites to support the production (up to 25%).
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related STEM discipline such as Math, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline with 5 years related experience. MS or BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading and supporting Production and/or Test of electrical sub-systems in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Ability to demonstrate thorough communication skills including report writing and presentations.
Strong skills and experience with analysis of technical data
Experience with fault isolation / troubleshooting at the system to WRA/LRU/Sub-system level
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Ability to understand Lua software language in an effort to troubleshoot digital hardware
Conducting failure investigations and providing recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence
Experience with fiber optic methodologies, standards, inspection criteria, equipment, or tools
Experience with Manufacturing Engineering is strongly preferred.
Experience with PRISM, SAP, and CMES
Knowledge of LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, Python programming languages Earned Value (EV) Certification
Familiarity with hardware compliance of Raytheon Quality Notes, J-STD-001, and ISO9001/AS9100 standards

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
