Job Description

You will analyze, plan and establish tool requirements to support assembly/disassembly of validation/production engines/modules. Technical writing of tool usage instructions will be required. You will participate in P&W Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to help ensure assembly tooling designs can be produced, supported and maintained. Develop concepts for assembly/disassembly procedures. Participate in development and qualification of assembly tooling Interface with customer and supplier representatives to identify requirements and resolve assembly tooling related issues. Manage project tasks to ensure tooling is delivered on time and within budget.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in engineering and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience

• Must be able to interpret and work from engineering and tool drawings

• US Citizenship required due to Government Contracts

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both internal and external customers

• Knowledge and experience with Project Management toolsets (e.g., Agile, SAP, Primavera, or MS Project)

• Experience using and navigating Teamcenter and Unigraphics/NX

• Knowledge of various types of special assembly support tooling

• Understanding of manufacturing practices, jet engine assembly/disassembly and maintenance procedures

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, budgets, and schedules

• Ability to solve technical problems with minimal direction

• Understanding of standard manufacturing methods

• Active Security Clearance
