    Job Summary:

    As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working DevOps as part of a multi-disciplinary Agile Scrum Team participating in the development of the Radar Test Contract (RTC) Open Systems Architecture Sensor Models (OSM).

    You will also be part of a larger Raytheon Modeling & Simulation team within the Algorithm & Simulation Directorate, which provides, develops, and maintains high fidelity performance simulations, executes system performance analysis (including pre-flight prediction, post flight matching, and verification and validation), aids new business initiatives and develops & executes technology roadmaps.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • You will work on an Agile Scrum team executing DevOps for the Algorithms and Simulation Department on-site at Schriever SFB, CO
    • You will work on the maintenance and upkeep of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), build tools, DevOps platform, and new / existing internal tools
    • You will support the IT team for account / password resets, service restarts, and machine reboots
    • You will maintain the internal testing framework
    • You will be responsible for the administration and automation of Agile tools
    • You will support investigations into containerization
    • You will perform integration and maintenance of 3rd party software

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM Degree
    • With the above degree, typically requires five (5) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in Engineering, with specific experience in the following areas (a Master's Degree will satisfy 2 years of work experience and a PhD will satisfy the experience requirements):
    • Experience using Linux Operating Systems
    • Experience with programming languages such as C++ and Python
    • Experience using scripting languages such as Bash
    • Experience in configuration and maintenance of build tools such as CMake, Ninja, or Apache Ant and DevOps platforms such as GitLab
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Qualifications We Value:

    • Have or be willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification
    • Experience with C++, Java, and Python
    • Administration and automation of Atlassian Jira and Confluence
    • Code repo management using Git
    • CMake, Ninja, and Apache Ant build tools
    • GitLab DevOps Platform and familiarity with the GitLab API
    • Experience with YAML and JSON Data serialization / configuration formats
    • Static code analysis using Fortify
    • Experience working with SQL databases and performing database administration tasks
    • Software tool installation, debugging, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
    • Documentation preparation and automation using LaTeX
    • Containerization tools including Podman, OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes
    • Configuration of Linters

    The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 to $152,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
