Position summary
This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
This position will include software design, code, integration, and testing of embedded software applications for Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment. It includes embedded software development using VxWorks Real Time Operating System and software requirements analysis and maintenance using IBM DOORS requirements database. Software documentation, software automation, and software automated testing are all included in the development cycle. Programs may also include DO-178 software certification. Debugging on the equipment in the lab is a requirement as having current DOD clearance (or the ability to obtain clearance).
Required Skills:
- C++ programming
- Embedded Software Development (coding/debugging)
- Embedded Software Integration (lab equipment integration/board programming support)
- Onsite Lab Support at Aberdeen Proving Ground
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Desired Skills:
- Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) experience
- Cyber Security
- VxWorks RTOS experience
- Real Time Operating Systems
- Board Support Package development
- DO-178 Software Development experience
- FPGA programming
Education Required:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
