The Software Products Engineering (SPE) organization develops software applications, including integration and test on missiles, launchers, radars, naval systems, fire control and other complex systems.  Our precision software and firmware integrates operating systems, device drivers, networking, and control software to bring together sensor, guidance, and flight control processing features to complete the mission.  SPE is responsible for all aspects of the software development life-cycle.  Our 2000+ software engineers design, develop, and build innovative solutions for our customers.  Join our fast-paced agile teams on the leading edge of technology.

Job Summary:

We are seeking Senior Software Integration Engineers to join our Software Integration Team. We integrate software developed in C++ and C. Candidates can expect to work on many if not all the phases of the software development life cycle. In this position, you will be responsible for providing practical solutions to difficult technical software problems. You can expect to support multiple programs and multiple platforms within a software product line. Senior Software Engineering positions include working on a variety of different tasks including real-time software development, application software development, test and verification, data analysis and software tools development. A person who is successful in this role understands and utilizes agile software development methods, automation, and continuous integration.

This position can be filled in Tewksbury or Marlborough, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Support and Improvement of our DevSecOps Pipeline.  This role requires passion to drive improvement via test automation, creative solutions and elimination of non-value steps.

• Ability to handle emergency situations that stop the pipeline and need to be addressed quickly and efficiently. 

• Productive in a collaborative team setting working with engineers of all levels

• Ability to debug and correct stability issues in our many software baselines

• Perform integration and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools that run on a Linux operating system. 

• Maintenance and enhancement of tooling infrastructure

• Possible opportunities to travel domestic and international

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 5+ years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 9 years of experience. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience

• Experience with C, C++, or Java 

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

• Experience with DevSecOps and test automation using Jenkins and Grafana for virtualization

• Experience with ClearCase or other configuration management tool

• Experience with Linux operating systems

• Experience with a scripting language such as Perl, Bash, Kornshell

• Experience with Collaborator or other source code review tool

• Experience with Coverity or other static analysis tool

• Experience with GIT, Jira, Artifactory, BitBucket, Coverity, Grafana

• Experience with Matlab
