Senior Systems Engineer-Largo

We are seeking Senior System Engineers at our Largo, Florida site, for our Protected Communications System (PCS) product lines. You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary group of System, Hardware and Software Engineers.  We are a growing business developing new products in an aggressive and competitive market. The new designs are exciting and technically challenging.

We provide multilevel secure voice and voice -conferencing capabilities to various DoD agencies, Government Departments, and NATO allies.

The System engineering activities we support include architecture development, CONOPS development, trade studies, requirements analysis and flow down to hardware/software configuration items as well as integration validation and verification (IV&V).

The Senior System Engineer will be an integral part of the System Engineering team and must know the fundamentals of the following areas:

• System architecture.
• System trade studies.
• System level requirements analysis.
• Performance specifications development.
• Integration, Test, and Validation (IV&V) effort.
• Test specifications development.
• Critical design and test readiness reviews generation.

Required Skills:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of System engineering experience.
• Must be conversant with fundamentals of system requirements and performance specifications, and IV&V test specifications.
• Working knowledge of System Modeling Language (SysML) and Model Based SE (MBSE) fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation} and ability to effectively communicate with leadership.
• U.S. Citizenship status and CURRENT SECRET Clearance is required
• Ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams of design professionals including electrical, mechanical, software, test, logistics and other System Engineers.
• Some experience with SATCOM products is highly preferred
• Understanding of the program technical baseline.

Desired Skills:

• Fundamentals of the following common MBSE tools: DOORs Next Gen, Cameo Enterprise Architect, or Rational Rhapsody.
• Good communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation} and ability to effectively communicate with leadership.
• Concepts of proposal preparation, cost and schedule estimation and technical documentation.
• Preparation of engineering inputs to gates and independent reviews.
• Preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs).

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in System, Electrical, Computer or Electrical and Computer Science from an accredited educational institution.
