Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) is looking for Systems Engineers for the Communication and IT mission area. The Systems Engineers will provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software development teams & test personnel, perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, algorithm development, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition, and requirement validation and verification. The Systems Engineers will support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning / development, interface with personnel from other organizations, and represent the program at technical interchange meetings. The Systems Engineer will participate in the daily program scrum meeting and provide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks.

Security Clearance: An Active and In-Scope TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $12,000 for a candidate with an Active TS/SCI clearance that can be verified when hired at RI&S.
Required Skills:
• Systems engineering lifecycle experience or exposure
• Ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite
Desired Skills:
• Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
• Experience in Systems Engineer process development and deployment
• Experience working in an Agile
• Experience with MATLAB
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience working with requirements in DOORS
Education and Experience Requirements:
5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (Typically STEM focused - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics); OR
3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree (Typically STEM focused - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

“In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $152,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.”
