    Position summary

    . You will provide direct support to various warfighter communities relating to Missile Defense System (MDS) sensors. The team is involved in various areas such as warfighter education, Wargames and Exercises, radar analysis, capability deployment, operational support, threat modeling, radar educational videos, etc.

    This position works on-site with a split between the Missile Defense Agency / Sensors Warfighter Support (MDA/SNW) organization at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO, and the Raytheon classified lab in town. Remote and hybrid work are not options for this role.

    This position requires significant domestic and international travel as an integral part of supporting the warfighter and associated organizations.

    You will also be part of a larger Raytheon team within the Systems Engineering Directorate, which provides, develops, and maintains high fidelity performance simulations, executes system performance analysis (including pre-flight prediction, post flight matching, and verification and validation), aids new business initiatives and develops & executes technology roadmaps.

    This is an Onsite role in Schriever SFB, Colorado

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • You will be involved with analyzing operational radar data.

    • You will support various warfighter organizations.

    • You will support education of the Combatant Commands and Sensor Manager Cells on radar capabilities.

    • You will oversee Wargames and Exercises as you participate in planning conferences, technical interchange meetings, system testing, and assist as the radar subject matter expert (SME) during execution.

    • You will contribute to the larger Missile Defense System (MDS) community.

    • You will support real world situations in support of warfighter needs.

    • You will travel with varying frequency throughout the year, at times up to 10% (domestically and internationally), to meet program requirements.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and five (5) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:

      • Radar experience with a background in the Missile Defense System.
      • Experience with Radar Analysis
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Qualifications We Value:

    • Masters' or PhD degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other STEM related degree.

    • Experience traveling internationally and/or domestically to support business needs

    • Missile Defense experience and knowledge of MDA elements and fielding configurations

    The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
