Joint Air Combat Test & Training (ACTT), a fast paced, high visibility and rewarding portfolio that is expected to be an engine for growth in the Mission Systems organization. This position is for a senior professional with deep knowledge and highly developed skillset in Value Stream Management. You will have accountability for profit and loss for a combination of execution programs and pursuits. Your daily focus will be to lead and organize your teams to deliver on our commitments for awarded programs and capture new programs both domestically and internationally. You will lead a cross functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) to fuel future business growth and solve the most challenging and emerging customer problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business plans and strategies to grow the ACTT business as part of an overarching business strategy.
Make decisions within the context of long-term strategic goals and objectives.
Lead pursuit and order capture activities, including strategy development, customer contact and influence, proposal development, and negotiation.
Set operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results.
Lead program execution (NRE development and recurring hardware sales), meeting financial, technical and schedule objectives
Run a profitable and predictable business through accurate forecasting, on-time deliveries, and management of risks and opportunities.
Serve as a primary customer contact for program activities.
Coordinate with Engineering, Business Development, and fellow Value Stream Leaders to develop and leverage product line solutions and capabilities.
Contribute to the development of the ACTT Strategic Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
Be able to travel potentially including International travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess or have the ability to possess a clearance up to the TS level
Experience with Collins Management System processes, preferred
Experience with Earned Value Management and Risk and Opportunity Management, preferred
Training Range knowledge and expertise, preferred
Have demonstrated ability to recognize, pursue, capture, and execute programs
Demonstrated ability to influence others and confidently present to Senior Leadership
Ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of the industry and the customers
