    Site Acceptance Test Lead

    Location: Colorado Springs, CO (preferred) – and specifically, would perform at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB)

    Clearance: DoD Secret (minimum)

    The Lead will be responsible for planning and execution of objectives.   The lead is responsible for planning the successful development of test cases, test procedures, support to Test Readiness Reviews, Gate 9 evidence generation, initial dry runs, final dry runs, golden dry runs as well as the run for record.  The lead will update metrics daily and support status reporting.  The Lead works directly with SEIT IPT lead, Lead Systems Engineer (LSE), Site Leads (SSFB & VSFB), Mission Operations Support (MOS) leadership, program leadership, other integrated product team leads and external interfaces.   This position will direct a team of over a dozen contributors.  The Lead is responsible for daily reporting of daily progress, accomplishments, and blockers to customers, external and internal team members and partners.

    This role will be responsible for planning and executing activities across multiple sites as portions of the objectives require requirements verification across multiple systems.  This will require heavy coordination with the VSFB Site Lead and team while operating out of SSFB.

    The ideal Lead has experience supporting large scale systems during the phase of a program.  Knowledge of the test process and lifecycle is required.  The Lead is an experienced test engineer and leader who has a passion for organizing and leading.

    Required Skills:

    Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams with proven track record

    Comprehensive understanding of test process and lifecycle, including government systems test lifecycle wherein MIL-STD-1521b compliance is demonstrated/adhered to

    Passion for organizing and leading team members.

    Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations.

    Experience with large scale system integration and testing.

    Ability to work on site, Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado

    Experience with command-and-control principles

    Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of program, customers, and technical leads (IPTs, chief engineers, architects)

    Experience driving cost, schedule, and technical performance.

    Desired Skills:

    Experience with satellite data processing and operations domain preferred

    Experience leading major milestone reviews

    Experience leading across geographical sites, subcontractors, and associate contractor companies.

    Knowledge of Space Mission Operations

    The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
