Site Security Associate (on site)

Raytheon Technologies in State College, PA is seeking a part-time guard for rotating shifts to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Operates a security control center by monitoring surveillance, access control, fire alarm, and HVAC systems.

• Patrols the facility to inspect access points and equipment.

• Notifies appropriate personnel, company and noncompany, during events affecting the facility.

• Makes detailed reports of incidents, violations, suspicious circumstances, and unsatisfactory conditions.

• Keeps current on information affecting security operations by reading standard operating procedures, reports, security polices, memorandums, and emails.

Required Skills:

• Current Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

• Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

• Must be able to sit and walk for long periods of time and withstand weather conditions.

• Must be able to remain calm and exercise good judgment.

• First Aid, CPR and AED knowledge.

• Must be able to lift or move up to 30 pounds.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Required Education:

High School Diploma with 1-2 years of Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience.
