Job Summary:
The Strategic Missile Defense Business Office has an immediate Program Cost Controls Analyst opportunity to provide support for the SM-3 BLK IB/IIA IDIQ Contract. The IDIQ Contract consist of sustainment, obsolescence, and development task orders in the SM-3 BLKIB/IIA Portfolio, a Portfolio with a secure and stable long term business forecast. The Senior Program Controls Analyst will work with their lead to support the management of the overarching master IDIQ contract, take a direct role in providing finance support for IIA contracts, and act as liaison with SM-3 IB personnel to ensure shared CDRLs, customer deliverables, and internal commitments are met.

This position is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote and/or onsite) and is based on the needs of the business. When working onsite, it may be up to 1-2 times per month. The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to Tucson, AZ.

This position will provide an opportunity to enhance skills in APEX, PMX, estimates at completion, variance analysis, and other metrics and tools.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related
Typically requires 2 years of professional experience in a finance or business management role
Experience in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)
Qualifications We Value:
Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
Familiarity with Earned Value Management
Familiarity with developing Estimates at Complete.
Experience communicating variances to forecasts and financial results
Ability to identify issues and provide actionable analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Defense Contracting Finance work experience
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing information and conditions
Independent thinker, self-motivated, and proactive
Experience with SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, BW) or similar systems
