Position Overview:
A co-op in this position will work closely with engineers supporting the software development lifecycle for aircraft cargo systems. Specific tasks may include software development, technical trade studies, software requirement / interface definition, and software testing.
In addition, you will be working cross functionally with hardware designers, test engineers & technicians, and project leadership.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Primary Responsibilities:
Support the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for aircraft cargo systems
Contribute to assigned cross-functional engineering project team responsible for the design, development, and verification of embedded software
Support project team activities related to the specification of requirements, software implementation, test case development, verification test execution, and certification support
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated interest in embedded software solutions
Programming experience in C
Program experience in C++
Visual Basic experience
LabVIEW / Test Stand experience
Comfortable with object-oriented programming concepts
Experience with software engineering processes and procedures, including writing software requirements, software design and implementation, functional and integration testing, writing test cases and test procedures, and software delivery support
Interest in working in the aviation electronics industry (experience with DO-178 level C or above a bonus)
Strong contributor to a positive work environment that focuses on solutions
