    This is a multi-discipline Industrial Security position supporting an assigned to the Consolidated Security Office within Raytheon Technologies.  Supports security business needs of all Special Access Programs across RTX in accordance with applicable USG regulations, contractual, customer and company requirements.

    This individual is responsible to execute day-to-day activities as a Personnel Security Professional including but not limited to:

    • Administer and maintain a comprehensive Personnel Security posture in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

    • Required to collaborate frequently with all levels of program leadership, business partners and stakeholders.

    • Maintains positive communication channels and relationships with Government customer personnel.

    • Acts as a Personnel Security Representative

    • Creates, maintains and leverages working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management to accomplish security objectives. 

    • Utilizes excellent writing, organizational, communication, problem-solving skills. Is detail oriented. 

    • Remains current on NISPOM, program Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Program Protection Plans (PPPs), Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD254s), contract Statement of Work (SOW) and related security guidance in support of assigned program(s). 

    • Participates in development, update, and implementation of company security policies and procedures.

    • Provides security deliverables with minimal supervision Program security status – weekly and monthly Security review status (internal and external) assisting in presentation preparation for program status and reviews (internal and external);

    • Submitting program access requests;

    • Maintaining billet plans;

    • Assisting with updating and administering indoctrinations, refresher briefings and debriefings and communicate security guidance to internal audiences Interpret security requirements across all NISP security domains Conduct security self-inspections, and prepare for DCSA inspections/annual reviews Conduct safe inspections.

    • Maintains personnel security tracker;

    • Action item tracker; and foreign travel tracker.

    • Coordinates completion and submission of Personnel Security Questionnaires, Pre and Post Foreign Travel Briefings.

    • Maintains personnel files and training record, assists and maintains team SharePoint site. O

    • Other security related tasks as directed by the Security Manager (i.e. escorting non-accessed personnel, conducting parcel checks, alarm testing, assist with annual Security Education, Training and Awareness (SETA) Program)

    Required Skills:

    • U.S. Citizenship is required as this position requires a minimum level of a current SECRET security clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years, issued by the federal government day 1 of employment.

    • Experience implementing NISPOM (DoD 5220.22-M/32 CFR Part 117), Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) to industrial security programs

    • Experience working in closed/secure areas

    • Experience using MS office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

    • Eagerness to adapt to and excel in a diverse, fast-paced environment

    • Use tact, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees and customers

    • Ability to align, plan, schedule and execute activities to accomplish objectives

    • Refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts ​

    • Willing to travel to support the business and program functions as needed by the customer (<10%)

    Desired Skills:

    • Ability obtain and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI eligibility clearance

    • Experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartment information (SCI) environment

    • Experience reviewing Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD254’s)

    • Experience using DISS and NISS

    • Self-starter comfortable with minimal supervision

    • Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

    Required Education:

    • Typically requires completed bachelors degree

    Desired Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Security Management, Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or related field of study

    • Related training through the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE)

    • CDSE Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)

    • Industrial Security Professional (ISP®) certification

    • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

    Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

    Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

    Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

    • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
