Position Description:

In direct support of the Associate Director of GATORWORKS Sourcing and Procurement, ensure that all tactical procurement related objectives are met across the full spectrum of commodities.  Develop strong relationships with suppliers, peers, internal management and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Execute purchase orders resulting from GATORWORKS program requirements
• Drive closure on activities related to each order, such as delivery assurance, purchase order supplements driven by engineering change requirements and assessment of supplier performance
• Execute request for quotations to suppliers in support of GATORWORKS proposal efforts.  Work closely with the Proposal Team to ensure quotation compliance and validity
• Develop necessary reports or communication to upper management
• Participate in procurement improvement projects that develop innovative processes enabling a more agile enterprise 
• Contribute to the development of standard work and procedures that define any new or modified process

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related field and 5 year's of experience in business, supply chain, or other related field.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a https://U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• https://U.S. citizenship is required, as only https://U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with gas turbine engine hardware and associated manufacturing methods preferred
• Tactical SAP procurement experience
