    Job Summary:

    Our RMD Strategic Alignment Organization (SAO) teammates are valued business partners, influencing and executing balanced and equitable business deals and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, all in support of the products and services we deliver to our customers.  Working as a strategic business partner within RMD, our SAO professionals work as a liaison between the Contracts and Supply Chain Management organizations by fueling powerful ideas, developing meaningful relationships, and working together to achieve and exceed business goals, with the ultimate aim to ensure mutual long-term success.

    Responsibilities To Anticipate:

    • Create and maintain a solid relationship between the Contracts and Global Supply Chain organizations.

    • Align program objectives, Mission Area goals, terms and conditions, and requirements.

    • Identify inconsistencies and mitigate risks between prime Contracts and Subcontracts.

    • Support Mission Area in developing long term strategies and providing sound contract management and supply chain management advice to meet customer objectives/obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies.

    • Examine proposals and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, engineering services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to help ensure accuracy and completeness.

    • Work closely within cross-functional teams to prepare negotiation strategies, address inconsistencies, help resolve execution gaps, and support negotiations as needed. 

    • Support SAO initiatives to improve efficiencies across Contracts.

    Required Skills:

    • 5 years applicable experience with US Government contracts and/or US Prime Contractor customers or Supply Chain Management
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    • U.S. Citizenship is required

     
    Desired Skills:

    • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

    • Contractual acumen with proficiency in contracts and supply chain management fundamentals

    • Related contract administration experience including hands-on proposal preparation and contract negotiations under US Department of Defense (DoD)/commercial/international contracts, experience managing multiple contract types and phases

    • Familiarity with Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements

    • Basic understanding of financials and risk quantification/mitigation

    • Ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust

    • Self-starter with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

    Security Clearance:
    This position requires the eligibility to obtain security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.

    The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
